2008-09 MAARCHING CHIEFS START PRACTICE NEXT WEEK
The 2008-2009 Marching Chiefs begin practicing next week. Rookies, Auxillary, Drum Line and Section Leaders begin Monday (7/21) at 7am to 11am. The full band joins them on Thursday (7/24). Please see the full schedule on our website at www.pvbands.com/pvhs.html.
The band will be practicing on a new practice field this year due to construction. The field is located behind the football field visitor's stands in what everyone use to call the "Gravel Parking Lot". New yard lines and "dots" were painted on the pavement on Saturday.

JULY BAND BOOSTER MEETING
The July 2008 band Booster Meeting will be held Tuesday (7/22) at 7:30pm in the High School Band Room. This will be our first meeting with the new board. At this meeting we will be presenting the planned 2008-2009 budget.
If you are not already a Pinson Valley Band Booster Association member, please be sure to pay your dues at the July meeting. The Pinson Valley Band Booster Associations supports both Pinson Valley High School and Rudd Middle School.
NEW PVBANDS WEBSITE
We are proud to announce our new website. This will be one of our primary tools to help you as supporters of the band stay informed. You can visit the web site at: www.pvbands.com.
The website will have announcements and calendars for both he High School and Middle School bands. As the year progresses, we will be adding photos, videos and any other items that may be of interest or informative. Be sure to bookmark the site and visit it often.
